Delete your GymDogs account
You delete your account in the app itself. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open GymDogs and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with the code we send to the account's email. This also applies if you sign in with Apple or Google.
No access to the app
Write to us through the support form using the account's email. We will help you get back into your account, and the deletion is done in the app, under Settings → Delete account.
What is deleted
- Your name, photo, password, Apple or Google sign-ins, and your email, which becomes free for a new sign-up.
- Workouts, goals, medals, stories, photos and videos, including the stored files.
- Cheers, friendships, blocks, favorites, devices, notifications, integrations and configured automatic deliveries.
What remains
- Wherever other people can still see something of yours, it shows as Conta excluída (“deleted account”), with no name or photo.
- The organizations' billing history, without the cards, which are disconnected.
- The records the law requires us to keep: the access log for 6 months and the trail of sensitive actions for 5 years, with personal data recorded only as "changed".
Organizations and teams
If you are the owner of an organization, it is closed along with your account: the subscription is cut off immediately, with no refund for the current period, and all of its teams stop.
In teams that belong to other people's organizations, you are removed as if you had left the team.
